An important step toward high-level scientific research

The Agricultural University Fertilizer Technology Center has officially been approved as a National-level Enterprise Technology Center.

On July 9, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Taxation Administration jointly issued the “Notice on the Release of the List of Newly Recognized and All National Enterprise Technology Centers for 2017–2018 (Batch No. 24)” (NDRC High-Tech [2018] No. 1000). The Technology Center of Shandong Agricultural University Fertilizer Co., Ltd. was successfully included and recognized as a “National Enterprise Technology Center.”

Nongda Fertilizer Industry has participated in the development of a national standard, which has been approved and officially released.

The national standard “Classification of Humic Acid Fertilizers,” spearheaded by Nongda Fertilizer Technology Co., Ltd., has been approved for publication. This standard effectively addresses longstanding issues of industry fragmentation and lack of uniformity in academic discourse, ensuring that humic acid and fulvic acid products derived from diverse raw materials and production processes can be appropriately categorized within the sector. It also provides a clear framework for fertilizer registration, which has long been a challenge for the humic acid industry. Moving forward, the standard will be aligned with the General Administration of Customs and the International Organization for Standardization of Fertilizers to designate humic acid fertilizers as a separate export category, thereby establishing a foundational benchmark for resolving international trade imbalances in fertilizer exports. Nongda Fertilizer Industry has been approved as the Key Laboratory of Soil Conditioning and Plant Nutrition of Tai’an City.

In accordance with the “Notice on the Announcement of the First Batch of Municipal-Level Key Laboratory Cultivation Units in Tai’an” (Tai Ke Fa [2017] No. 59), following institutional nomination, expert review, and public online announcement, the Tai’an Municipal Key Laboratory for Soil Conditioning and Plant Nutrition, submitted by Nongda Fertilizer Technology Co., Ltd., has been approved and publicly announced.

Nongda Fertilizer Industry has been approved as a Key Laboratory for Humic Acid-Based Fertilizers under the Ministry of Agriculture.

According to the “Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Agriculture on the Release of the List of Supplementary Key Laboratories of the Ministry of Agriculture during the 13th Five-Year Plan Period and Related Matters” (No. 1 [2018] of the Agricultural Office for Science and Technology), after fierce competition and multiple rounds of review, the “Key Laboratory of Efficient Agricultural Utilization of Humic Acid Resources” jointly submitted by Nongda Fertilizer Co., Ltd. and Shandong Agricultural University has been successfully approved. It is understood that the Ministry of Agriculture’s enterprise‑based key laboratories are important research platforms that support enterprises in conducting independent innovation, introducing advanced technologies, translating research findings into practical applications, and advancing industry development. They constitute an integral part of the national agricultural science and technology innovation system, serving as hubs for attracting and cultivating outstanding agricultural science and technology talent.
