On June 30, the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology issued the “Notice on the Recognition of International Science and Technology Cooperation Bases in Shandong Province for 2023,” under which the “Shandong Provincial International Demonstration Base for the Development of Green and Ecological Fertilizers,” submitted by Shandong Nongda Fertilizer Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Nongda Group), was successfully selected.
In recent years, Nongda Group has adopted the corporate mission of “enabling more farmers to achieve greater economic benefits,” and, guided by the strategy of “technology‑driven product leadership,” has actively pursued scientific and technological cooperation both domestically and internationally. In the field of innovative green ecological fertilizers, it has established extensive and in-depth partnerships with more than ten overseas academicians and leading experts from countries including the United States, Japan, Russia, and South Korea. The company has undertaken numerous international collaborative projects, such as the National Key R&D Program’s intergovernmental international science and technology innovation initiatives, provincial major innovation programs, and the Taishan Industry Leading Talent Program. As a result, it has achieved three internationally pioneering breakthroughs, developed the “Humic Acid+” series of green ecological fertilizer products, cultivated over ten high‑caliber professionals, resolved multiple critical technological bottlenecks plaguing the industry, and been awarded the title of “National Manufacturing Single‑Item Champion Demonstration Enterprise,” thereby spearheading technological advancement in the emerging green fertilizer sector.
The Shandong Provincial International Science and Technology Cooperation Bases are a series of key projects strategically planned and developed by the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology to address the province’s needs for high-quality development and cutting-edge innovation in its “Top Ten” industries. Targeting innovative countries, nations along the Belt and Road, and other priority regions, these bases serve to aggregate advanced technological achievements and top-tier innovators, foster international talent exchange, facilitate technology matchmaking and成果转化, expand international science and technology cooperation, and strengthen the development of an internationally oriented research environment—thereby helping to build an open innovation ecosystem with global competitiveness. Building on this foundation, the Shandong Provincial International Demonstration Base for the Development of Green and Ecological Fertilizers will further enhance the attraction, introduction, and collaboration of overseas talent and technological resources, advance innovations in green and ecological fertilizer technologies and their smart‑based applications, and provide robust support for the green, low‑carbon, and environmentally sustainable development of China’s modern agriculture.
