In this era of passion and vitality, safety and stability are the goals we all strive for. During National Fire Safety Publicity Month, our company has responded enthusiastically, adopting the theme “Prevention First, Life Above All,” to comprehensively strengthen fire safety management and enhance employees’ awareness of fire prevention and their ability to handle emergencies.

On the afternoon of November 9, the company’s Safety and Environmental Protection Center organized a fire safety training session for staff from all workshops and departments. Manager Jiang Wei of the Safety and Environmental Protection Center delivered the training.

Fires often start from a single oversight, yet their consequences can be immeasurable. During the training, Manager Jiang Wei provided a detailed overview of the dangers of fire, its causes, and preventive measures, helping us to fully appreciate the threat it poses. Fire-fighting equipment within the company is a critical safeguard for fire safety. Manager Jiang explained the functions and key maintenance considerations of various types of fire-fighting devices, helping us appreciate their vital role in the event of a fire. He also emphasized the importance of conducting regular inspections to ensure that these systems remain fully operational when needed.

Firefighting equipment is essential life-saving gear at fire scenes, and mastering its proper use and conducting regular inspections are of paramount importance. During the meeting, Zhang Gongzhuang, a firefighter from the Safety and Environmental Protection Center, and safety engineer Wang Lei led all staff in a fire‑response drill on the factory premises, providing detailed demonstrations of how to operate fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and other firefighting tools. They also underscored the critical need for routine checks to ensure that this equipment remains in good working order and can be deployed promptly in the event of a fire.

The four capabilities of fire safety are: the ability to inspect and eliminate fire hazards; the ability to extinguish incipient fires; the ability to organize evacuation and escape; and the ability to conduct fire safety publicity and education. Through hands-on drills, we have come to deeply appreciate the critical importance of these four capabilities at a fire scene. Only by comprehensively enhancing them can we better respond to fires.

This fire safety training has helped employees gain a deep understanding of the dangers of fires and recognize the critical importance of fire safety. The company will also comprehensively strengthen its fire safety management, enhancing employees’ fire‑prevention awareness and their ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
