Though the road is long, perseverance will bring you to your destination; though the task is difficult, action will ensure success!

With the resounding crack of firecrackers bidding farewell to the old year, everyone is stepping forward with renewed vigor to kick off the new one. On January 28—the seventh day of the Lunar New Year—accompanied by the sky‑splitting echoes of fireworks and basking in the winter sun, Nongda Group resumed work, as all cadres and employees, brimming with high morale and full of energy, returned to their posts.
At 9:00 a.m., Nongda Group convened its 2023 Spring New Year Gathering. Attending the meeting were Ma Xuewen, Secretary of the Party Branch and Chairman of Nongda Group; Ding Fangjun, Deputy General Manager of Nongda Group; Zhu Jun, Deputy General Manager of Nongda Fertilizer; as well as members of the leadership teams from the Group’s various subsidiaries and departments.
In his address, Ma Xuewen, Secretary of the Group’s Party Branch and Chairman of the Board, first extended warm wishes and New Year greetings on behalf of China Agricultural University to all cadres, employees, their families, and friends from all sectors.
General Manager Ma summarized the Agricultural University Group’s work in 2022 and outlined plans for 2023. He emphasized that the year just concluded—2022—was an exceptionally extraordinary, highly challenging, and profoundly meaningful chapter in the Group’s history. Over the past year, the Group successfully secured two key R&D projects under the 14th Five-Year Plan and one major provincial project in Shandong; it also garnered one First-Class Award and two Second-Class Awards for Scientific and Technological Progress from Shandong Province, as well as a National Harvest Award, marking further significant achievements in innovation. The Group has established self-built production bases and strategic partnership facilities across South China, Northeast China, Northwest China, and other regions, and commenced construction of the Shuangliao production base in September. With its workforce steadily expanding, the Group has achieved sustained growth. Meanwhile, its big-data services have delivered tangible results: integrated offerings—including drone‑based imaging, IoT devices, AI‑driven identification, satellite remote sensing, and soil‑testing services—have been rolled out to serve large-scale farmers, among nine standout initiatives. These accomplishments would not have been possible without the hard work of all employees at Agricultural University, the trust of our distributors and growers, and the robust support of all sectors of society.
Meanwhile, President Ma stated that the group’s sustained and rapid growth would not have been possible without the deep-rooted influence of its corporate culture. He went on to explain that what is known as the “Nongda Culture”… First, we must stay committed to a single goal. To maintain a focused and undisturbed mind, we must keep our eyes firmly on the market, channel our efforts through a single aperture, and unite as one. Second, always keep two oaths firmly in mind. . Keep firmly in mind the mission of “enabling more farmers to achieve greater economic benefits,” and remain committed to delivering tangible results; respect our goals, and uphold our systems and regulations; Third, we must adhere to three guiding principles. Customer-oriented, results-oriented, and accountability-driven; Fourth, the four-in-one approach. . The company, its employees, distributors, and farmers are all part of a shared community of destiny; Fifth, the Five Great Spirits Mr. Ma analyzed the Five Spirits from five dimensions: staying true to our original aspiration means upholding our mission; product leadership is our development strategy; empowerment and support signify unity and collaboration; honesty and trustworthiness are paramount; and hard work is the foundation of everything we do.
Agricultural University Culture is the soul of enterprise development, the pillar that sustains employees’ spirit, and the benchmark by which society recognizes the company, playing an immeasurable role. Subsequently, General Manager Ma, focusing on the 2023 annual objectives, broke down the targets in detail, assigning responsibilities to specific posts and individuals. He urged all employees to uphold the corporate culture, work together with one heart, strive for innovation, and ensure the steady and orderly implementation of all tasks.
Finally, General Manager Ma concluded with the saying, “The sea is vast enough for fish to leap, and the sky is high enough for birds to fly,” encouraging all employees to approach the new year’s work with full enthusiasm, unwavering determination, and a pragmatic, results‑oriented approach.
