Resonance and Mindful Agriculture: The 2022 Nongda Fertilizer Autumn Marketing Summit Concludes Successfully

Release Date:

2022-07-05

June 29, 2022, with the theme “ Resonating in harmony, mindfulness for agriculture. The 2022 Nongda Fertilizer Autumn Marketing Summit, themed “...,” kicked off in Nanchang. More than 400 partners and industry leaders from across China gathered in the “City of Heroes”—Nanchang—to once again carry forward the banner of agricultural development and inject fresh momentum into the transformation and upgrading of China’s fertilizer sector.
In the first half of the year, the outbreak of the pandemic and rising raw material prices triggered a series of ripple effects across the agricultural inputs sector. Faced with a challenging market environment, Nongda Fertilizer actively pursued reforms and upgrades in services, technology, and products, aligning closely with its partners to achieve robust sales growth.
At the conference, Ma Xuewen, Chairman of Nongda Fertilizer Industry, delivered a speech. He stated that over the past six months, the company has steadfastly placed innovation at the heart of its strategy—spanning product promotion and channel development, strategic realignment, and service innovation—working hand in hand with its distributor partners to build a community of shared interests. As a result, sales have grown against the market trend, earning widespread attention from industry stakeholders and national leaders alike. In response to the evolving landscape, as China’s leading brand in humic acid fertilizers, Nongda Fertilizer Industry will proactively adjust its strategy and align with emerging trends. Guided by its original mission to help more farmers achieve greater economic returns, the company will continue to foster a shared‑interest ecosystem, stabilize its customer base, transform its product portfolio, expand distribution channels, and enhance its service offerings—working together to drive sustained business growth.
Under the current challenging market conditions, the business environment is evolving subtly, and customer perceptions are quietly shifting. The state of domestic soils has increasingly become a bottleneck hindering improvements in both crop yield and quality. Meanwhile, ensuring national food security has become an urgent priority, prompting rapid transformation and upgrading across the fertilizer industry. Products, technologies, and brands must better align with market demands; only innovative fertilizers that suit China’s crops and soils and support the sustainable development of Chinese agriculture will be the key focus going forward. At the conference, Guo Xinsong, Director of the Agricultural Science Institute at Nongda Fertilizer Industry, delivered a report. In response to the new market landscape, Nongda Fertilizer has proactively adjusted its product portfolio, developing and upgrading a range of offerings—including organic–inorganic compound fertilizers, humic‑acid‑based biofertilizers, water‑soluble fertilizers, foliar fertilizers, seed‑treatment agents, and nutrient‑rich feeds for shrimp, crabs, and fish—each of which received an enthusiastic reception from the audience.
Chen Gang, manager of the Agricultural Planting and Management Department at the Shandong node, also speaks highly of China Agricultural University’s products. He emphasizes, “To ensure stable and increased yields, we must uphold the national policy of ‘storing grain in the land and in technology’ by using fertilizers that improve soil quality, thereby firmly safeguarding both the quality and safety of our food.”
Ma Xiangzhou, General Manager of Anhui Xiangzhou Seed Industry Co., Ltd., and Tian Wenjie, General Manager of Biyuan Agricultural Inputs in Yanzin County, Henan Province, have also experienced this firsthand. Amid shifting market conditions, they have capitalized on changes in regional cropping patterns, leveraged their products and services, and adjusted their marketing strategies—resulting in steadily increasing sales.
Moreover, to better implement the state’s policies and directives on food security, from May to July, Nongda Fertilizer Industry conducted more than 100 field‑based yield‑measurement events across the country. Song Wei, Director of Nongda Fertilizer Industry’s Marketing Center, summarized the initiative: through these over one hundred on‑site yield assessments, wheat yields increased by an average of 322 jin per mu, generating an additional income of 483 yuan per mu—truly ensuring that “the Chinese people’s rice bowls are firmly in their own hands.” Looking ahead, Nongda Fertilizer Industry will remain true to its original mission, continuing to organize real‑world yield‑measurement activities for different crops and regions, so that even more farmers can reap greater economic benefits.
As the national agricultural planting structure undergoes adjustment, large-scale farmers are becoming increasingly numerous and younger. Traditional farming practices and mindsets can no longer meet the needs of today’s major growers. Meanwhile, the rapid development of the national internet industry has further accelerated the advancement of “smart agriculture.” To better serve farmers and support distributors’ sales, Nongda Fertilizer Industry has long prioritized “digital agriculture” and achieved notable results. According to Wang Kun, Director of Nongda Fertilizer Industry’s Information Center, the company’s digital platform now offers a wide array of services, including soil testing, AI‑based crop identification, drone‑borne imagery, IoT devices, and satellite imaging—providing customers with precise solutions and real-time crop management to ensure stable, high yields and improved quality.
The entire conference was centered around the theme “Resonance in Harmony, Mindful Agriculture,” embodying Nongda Fertilizer’s unwavering commitment to its founding principles and underscoring its resolve to stand shoulder to shoulder with partners through thick and thin. The 2022 Nongda Fertilizer Autumn Marketing Summit was more than just a marketing event—it was a strategic summit for the industry’s future development. The successful convening of this autumn marketing conference has rallied the entire Nongda community, enabling all members to unite in purpose and meet challenges with unwavering enthusiasm, thereby driving the transformation and upgrading of China’s fertilizer sector, enhancing the quality of Chinese crops, and ensuring the safe and sustainable production of China’s food supply.
