On the afternoon of April 1, the on-site promotion meeting for achieving full coverage of technological upgrading and capacity expansion among large-scale manufacturing enterprises in Tai’an City was successfully held. Cui Honggang, Secretary of the Tai’an Municipal Party Committee, and Zhang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, led a delegation to visit the Agricultural Big Data Center of Nongda Fertilizer Co., Ltd. and the intelligent transformation project for new‑type ecological fertilizers. The Agricultural Big Data Center and the Intelligent Transformation Project for New‑type Ecological Fertilizers of Nongda Fertilizer Co., Ltd. have a total investment of RMB 530 million. The project encompasses the construction of a 51,000‑square‑meter big data center, production workshops, and other ancillary facilities, as well as eight production lines: a sulfur‑based compound fertilizer line, an intelligent, high‑efficiency water‑soluble fertilizer line, a controlled‑release fertilizer line, a potassium sulfate line, a water‑soluble fertilizer line, a fungal‑based fertilizer line, and a microbial inoculant line. Additionally, 450 units (sets) of various production equipment and 68 units (sets) of analytical instruments have been procured. The project boasts three core competitive advantages: nationally leading data intelligence, a research and development team that sets the benchmark across the country, and cutting‑edge technological expertise.

The project broke ground in July 2020. Upon commissioning, it will add 1 million tons per year of capacity for various new‑type fertilizers, generating RMB 3 billion in sales revenue and establishing the company as a comprehensive production and agrochemical services hub with the most diverse product portfolio, the highest quality, and the best customer service nationwide.

Going forward, Nongda Fertilizer Industry, with strong government support, will accelerate its industrial transformation and upgrading, pursuing high-end, intelligent, and green development. It will also vigorously advance project construction, contributing to the creation of a new hub for the industrial economy.
