[100-Day Campaign] Production Commitment: Ensure on-time delivery and quality, and guarantee task completion.

Release Date:

2020-05-08

On April 20, the company launched the “Xiaofei 100-Day Campaign” and issued a call to all employees under the theme, “Only through diligence can we achieve success.”

To the business elites on the front lines of sales: you bend over and enter the greenhouses every day, sweat it out to deliver exceptional service, and constantly keep learning to strive for improvement. You’ve worked so hard!

With the troops already in motion, provisions must be ample! In this issue, we’ll take a look at how the production system ensures supply.

I. Strengthen Management and Enhance Support

To secure victory in the 100-day campaign for small‑size fertilizer production, the production system has further refined and optimized its internal management, strategically planned overall operations, and rigorously managed critical processes. With a strong focus on both production quality and efficiency, it has strengthened process oversight and performance evaluation to ensure the timely and reliable supply of small‑size fertilizer.

At the outset of the campaign, the production system established a dedicated small‑fertilizer production management team, with the company’s Vice President of Production, Ma Xuezhi, personally assuming leadership. Drawing on the five key elements—people, equipment, materials, methods, and environment—the team brought together specialists from mechanical engineering, electrical systems, tooling, planning and scheduling, technology, and process engineering. It mandated close collaboration across all roles, shifting the focus and primary effort to the shop floor and prioritizing the resolution of on‑site issues. This approach enables both timely, agile adjustments to production and rigorous, meticulous management to ensure a steady supply of products.

II. Overcoming Numerous Obstacles and Increasing Production Output

In light of the characteristics of small‑batch, diverse fertilizer varieties, the production system prioritizes planning and scheduling. Dedicated personnel have been assigned to oversee this process, and, based on the specific type of fertilizer, a production‑department‑led approach is adopted, with each small‑fertilizer workshop independently organizing its own output. Production schedules are then coordinated and optimized in accordance with the actual conditions at each workshop.

The company that supplies steam to our enterprise suspended steam supply for over a month due to operational needs. To address this challenging situation, the production team promptly coordinated with the sales department, swiftly ascertained order requirements, and proactively built up inventory. Meanwhile, the company responded rapidly and effectively. At present, we have finalized a plan to construct an in-house natural‑gas‑fired steam boiler; construction has already commenced, and the equipment has been custom‑ordered, ensuring that the impact of the steam outage on small‑fertilizer production will be minimized.

Hereby, the company solemnly pledges to all growers: Although the cost of production will rise due to our in-house installation of natural‑gas steam boilers, we will not increase prices on orders already under contract—this is the unwavering principle of integrity that we have upheld for many years.

To significantly boost output and ensure supply, the production system has reallocated personnel from the bulk fertilizer workshop to enable dual‑line, two‑shift operations for the compound fertilizer line, while assigning experienced operators to provide advance training to the newly reassigned staff. To meet the packaging requirements of the compound fertilizer product, the Production Center has installed a new filling line; with the rainy season approaching, and in order to mitigate the impact of humic acid’s natural hygroscopicity on the production process, the Center has also commissioned a new dehumidification and cooling unit.

To ensure continuous production, equipment maintenance and upkeep are paramount. During this campaign, the production system reaffirmed its evaluation criteria for equipment maintenance technicians: prioritize preventive maintenance—excellence lies in consistent, everyday effort. Only a technician who always presents himself impeccably, has no work to do, and yet keeps the equipment running smoothly can truly be called a master.

III. Ensuring Quality Through Activities

Quality is the lifeblood of an enterprise and the soul of its products. The high‑quality products painstakingly developed by our R&D team must be manufactured in strict accordance with specified standards to ensure they meet all required specifications.

To ensure product quality, the production system will, starting this month, organize special quality inspections, quality‑competition contests, and operator‑skill competitions. These activities will be conducted concurrently with production, without disrupting operations. The outcomes of these contests will determine whether employees qualify to participate in the 100‑day campaign. As in warfare, during the critical phase of such a campaign, priority will be given to those who are most capable and most proficient in their tasks.

We will continue to follow up and report on these activities in the coming days.

Through the measures outlined above, our production system pledges to you: once you place your order, we will manufacture your product on time, with consistent quality and quantity, ensuring that you receive superior Nongda fertilizers and achieve greater returns.
