On March 8, Song Zhiming, Deputy Director-General of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, led a research team to Nongda Fertilizer Co., Ltd. to assess the progress of resuming work and production. Accompanying the delegation were Yuan Jiudang, Vice Mayor of Tai’an City; Yin Xirui, Deputy Secretary of the Feicheng Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; Wang Zhiyong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor; and Zhang Deqi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the High-tech Zone. The company’s Chairman, Ma Xuewen, warmly received the visiting leaders.
The research team conducted an on-site inspection of the company’s production facilities and listened to a briefing on the relevant situation, gaining a detailed understanding of the company’s resumption of work and production, employee return-to-work rate, and implementation of preventive and control measures.
Song Zhiming fully commended the company’s efforts to resume work and production and ensure spring farming, and highly praised its outstanding achievements in developing new‑type fertilizers such as humic acid. He also urged that, while continuing to rigorously implement all prevention and control measures, the company should ramp up the production of horse‑drawn carts, secure the supply of fertilizers to the market, and do its utmost to support spring‑time agricultural production.
