On the afternoon of March 4, Liu Jiayi, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited Nongda Fertilizer Co., Ltd. to inspect epidemic prevention and spring‑field preparation efforts. He emphasized the need to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and his series of key instructions on epidemic control, to maintain unwavering vigilance in strengthening and refining preventive measures, to actively and orderly restore normal production and daily life, and to strive to achieve the year’s economic and social development goals. Sun Licheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary-General; Cui Honggang, Secretary of the Tai’an Municipal Party Committee; Li Canyu, Member of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary-General of the Municipal Party Committee; and Chang Xuku, Secretary of the Feicheng Municipal Party Committee, accompanied him during the visit. Liu Jiayi visited the company’s production workshop to inspect operations, gaining insights into product performance, technological advantages, R&D efforts, international collaborations, and corporate financing. He also observed live demonstrations of product comparison tests and the application of an agricultural big-data platform.
He encouraged the company to ramp up production while maintaining rigorous epidemic prevention and control measures, ensuring a steady supply of fertilizers, leveraging online sales channels, and doing its utmost to support spring‑time farming. He also urged the company to intensify research and development efforts, enhance its product‑innovation capabilities, promote healthier soils and higher crop yields, and harness the power of technology to propel modern agriculture forward.
Liu Jiayi inquired in detail about the challenges faced by the company in resuming work and production and expanding output, urging local officials to promptly coordinate solutions and ensure the effective implementation of relevant policies supporting the resumption of work and production.
