Contributing scientific and technological expertise to the transformation of agricultural growth drivers!
Recently, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, in collaboration with relevant departments, organized the selection process for major technological research projects aimed at facilitating the transition from old to new growth drivers. In accordance with the “Measures for Implementing Major Research Projects under the Major Initiative for Transforming Old and New Growth Drivers (Trial)” and the “2019 Guidelines for Submitting Applications for Major Research Projects under the Major Initiative for Transforming Old and New Growth Drivers,” and following rigorous procedures—including public solicitation, credit checks, expert review, on-site inspections, and public announcement—the commission identified 50 proposed major research projects to be supported. Among these, the project titled “Research and Industrial Application of Key Technologies for Anti‑Continuous‑Cropping Fungal Biofertilizers by Nongda Fertilizer” was successfully selected.
The project is expected to require a total investment of RMB 16.9 million and is slated for completion in 2021. According to the plan, the existing laboratory will be expanded and renovated, with new facilities such as a strain‑storage room, a sterile room, a solid‑state fermentation laboratory, and a mixed‑fermentation laboratory being constructed. In addition, a pilot‑scale solid‑state fermentation workshop will be built to support the screening of superior fungal strains and the research of fermentation technologies. Supporting equipment—including laminar flow hoods, mass spectrometers, microplate readers, and other experimental, R&D, and testing instruments—will be procured and installed. The project’s technological breakthroughs will play a crucial role in ensuring agricultural product safety, maintaining soil ecological balance, promoting green and sustainable agricultural development, and facilitating the transition from old to new growth drivers. At present, the project is progressing smoothly and in an orderly manner according to the established plan.
The integration of industry, academia, research, and application represents the sustainable development model of Nongda Fertilizer.
