Humic acid promotes crop growth and increases yield.

Release Date:

2019-08-02

Humic acid promotes crop growth and enhances both yield and quality. Humic‑acid fertilizers can significantly alleviate soil compaction caused by the long-term application of chemical fertilizers, improve acidic and alkaline soils, and regulate soil pH—particularly with remarkable efficacy in balancing acidity and alkalinity.

Humic acid It promotes crop growth and enhances both yield and quality. Humic acid fertilizers can significantly alleviate soil compaction caused by the long-term use of chemical fertilizers, improve acidic and alkaline soils, and regulate soil pH—particularly with remarkable efficacy in balancing acidity and alkalinity.

The benefits of humic acid granules include improving soil structure and enhancing the soil’s buffering capacity. In loose, sandy soils, humic acid can increase cation exchange capacity, helping to retain soil moisture and nutrients, thereby significantly boosting root uptake of essential nutrients.

In compact, clayey soils, humic acids can interact with fungi to form aggregate structures, enhancing the uptake of dissolved oxygen and nutrients from the soil and improving root permeability. In alkaline conditions, humic acids help buffer the pH, converting nutrients and micronutrients into bioavailable forms that are readily absorbed by roots, since many essential nutrients and micronutrients become unavailable to plants in such environments.
 Humic acid promotes crop growth.
In acidic soils, heavy metals such as aluminum can be significantly reduced, as they are immobilized by humic acids, thereby diminishing their toxicity; moreover, phosphate ions previously bound by aluminum are released. In saline–alkali soils, salts are displaced by strong cations—such as calcium and magnesium—and the osmotic pressure between root systems is markedly lowered.

Humic acid promotes seed metabolism and germination rates. It enhances the root system’s ability to absorb nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, iron, and other micronutrients by converting these elements into forms that crops can readily uptake. Consequently, yields increase by more than 30%.

Humic acid enhances nutrient uptake and photosynthesis in crops, thereby increasing their sugar and vitamin content. It reduces the leaching of harmful nitrates into groundwater, thus protecting this vital resource. By immobilizing nitrates in the root zone, humic acid safeguards underground drinking water, boosts the efficacy of herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides, promotes crop growth, and improves yield while minimizing or eliminating residues of harmful substances.
