Humic Acid Manufacturer: Application Methods for Microbial Fertilizers

Release Date:

2019-07-29

As living standards improve, green products and eco-friendly farming practices are attracting increasing attention, and the role and benefits of microbial fertilizers have gained widespread recognition. Microbial fertilizers offer numerous advantages: they not only enhance soil structure and boost soil fertility but also strengthen stress resistance and improve crop quality. Moreover, they are highly versatile, suitable for a wide range of crops, including fruit trees, vegetables, field crops, cash crops, and medicinal plants. On the other hand, severe soil contamination—characterized by heavy metal residues and the overuse of chemical fertilizers and pesticides—has made microbial fertilizers an essential component of future agricultural production. Nevertheless, certain issues continue to hinder the full potential of microbial fertilizers.

As living standards improve, green products and eco-friendly farming practices are receiving increasing attention. Microbial fertilizer Its functions and benefits are widely recognized. Microbial fertilizers offer numerous advantages: they not only improve soil structure and enhance soil fertility but also strengthen stress resistance and improve crop quality. Moreover, they have a broad range of applications, suitable for fruit trees, vegetables, field crops, cash crops, medicinal plants, and more.

On the other hand, with severe soil contamination today—characterized by heavy-metal residues and the overuse of chemical fertilizers and pesticides—microbial biofertilizers have become a top priority for future agricultural production. Nevertheless, several challenges continue to hinder their wider adoption and application, including issues related to fertilizer stability, interactions among different microbial strains, and proper usage methods. These matters require further research and intensified efforts in public education and promotion. Here, humic acid manufacturers present the recommended methods for using microbial biofertilizers:
1. Instructions for Use:

Seed dressing and sowing: Use an appropriate amount of water to moisten large-seeded crops such as corn, soybeans, and peanuts. Mix 0.5–1 kg of microbial fertilizer per mu (crushed) with the seeds, then allow the mixture to air‑dry or shade‑dry before sowing.

Versatile application: Apply 1–2 kg of microbial fertilizer per mu, thoroughly mixed with chemical fertilizers, compound fertilizers, organic fertilizers, or well‑decomposed farmyard manure, as a base or top dressing; it can be broadcast, applied in furrows, or placed in planting holes.

Root Dipping and Root Irrigation: Apply 1–2 kg of microbial fertilizer per mu, crush it, and dilute it with water at a ratio of 5–8 times; use it for root dipping, or dilute it 200–400 times and apply directly to the root zone. When dipping the roots, be careful not to wash away the soil adhering to the root system.

Seedbed soil: Apply 300–500 grams of crushed microbial fertilizer per square meter of seedbed, mix thoroughly with the seedbed soil, and then proceed with sowing.

Single application: For soils that have already been fertilized with chemical fertilizers and well‑decomposed organic matter, you can apply approximately 2 kg of microbial fertilizer separately, using methods such as furrow application, hole application, root irrigation, or flush application.

Spraying: Dissolve the microbial fertilizer in an appropriate amount of water, collect the supernatant, filter it, and dilute thoroughly with water before applying by spraying. The filter residue can be applied directly to the plant roots.

Foliar application: Apply 1–2 kg of microbial fertilizer per mu, mixed with chemical fertilizer, diluted with an appropriate amount of water, and applied through irrigation.

Fruit tree fertilization: Apply 2–4 kg of microbial fertilizer per mu, mixed with other fertilizers; application can be done by hole application, ring‑shaped trench application, or radial trench application.

Floral fertilization: For every kilogram of potting soil, apply 10–15 grams of microbial fertilizer as a topdressing or base fertilizer.

The recommended application rate for microbial fertilizer is the standard dosage; please refer to the product label for specific instructions.

Humic acid manufacturer Note: Different types of microbial fertilizers should not be mixed. Currently, the market offers a wide variety of microbial fertilizers, each containing distinct strains of beneficial microorganisms. It remains unclear whether these strains may inhibit one another; if such inhibition occurs, fertilizer efficacy could be reduced.
