Open to all summer corn growers across the province, the contest combines recommendations from the agricultural bureaus of each county (city, district) with voluntary registration by farmers. Any farmer or organization cultivating a contiguous corn field of at least three mu and projecting a single‑crop yield of 900 kilograms per mu is eligible to enter.
