Shanxi Branch’s Field Demonstration Day for Humic Acid–Enhanced Wheat in Hongtong County, Agricultural University

     In Guankou Village, Xingtangsi Township, Hongdong County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province, the cropping system is a wheat–corn rotation.

Ms. Zhang from Guankou Village is an ordinary farmer who enjoys considerable influence and authority in the local community. Last winter, upon the recommendation of Manager Li from the distributor He’an Agriculture and agricultural expert Xiao Chang, and following their suggested formulation, Ms. Zhang decided to give Nongda’s active humic acid fertilizer a try. She adopted the wheat‑fertilizer package plan recommended by our Nongda sales representative:

Base fertilizer: Nongda Active Humic Acid Fertilizer 25-12-5 Cl (40 kg), 1 bag per mu. Topdressing: Nongda “Yi Ba Zha” 28-0-0 Cl (40 kg), 1 bag per mu.

  Control fertilizer: 45% nutrient content, 40 kg per mu; plus a topdressing of 40 kg per mu of urea.

On May 27, 2016, with the assistance of Manager Li from He’an Agriculture, Xiao Chang, a sales representative at Nongda Fertilizer, invited Mr. Wang Bin, a technical instructor at Nongda Fertilizer, to host an on-site demonstration event on Sister Zhang’s field.

A hundred local residents attended the demonstration, and many of them asked Sister Zhang, “This fertilizer is both drought‑resistant and lodging‑resistant, and it doesn’t leach nutrients even in the later stages. What exactly is it?” Smiling warmly, Sister Zhang replied, “It’s a fertilizer that’s ‘been to college’—Nongda Active Humic Acid Fertilizer.” She went on to tell the villagers that they could buy it right here in our village, then pointed toward the store, less than 100 meters from the demonstration field.

After witnessing the demonstration on-site, public enthusiasm for Nongda fertilizers soared, with customers flocking to the store to place orders for a total of 32 tons of active humic acid corn base fertilizer (26-14-5) combined with Nongda’s “Yi Ba Zhuo” topdressing.

Following this demonstration event, locally produced comparative infographics on fertilizer efficacy were printed and posted in villages across Hongtong County, enabling more farmers to learn about Nongda fertilizers, bringing these products into households, and helping more farmers access higher‑quality fertilizers to maximize their yields and incomes.
