Three key projects of Nongda Fertilizer Industry have been approved.

Recently, the project “Industrial Production and Promotional Application of Cellulose-Based (Waste Cardboard) Liquefied‑Modified Coated Controlled‑Release Fertilizer,” submitted by Shandong Nongda Fertilizer Technology Co., Ltd. under the key special program of the 13th Five-Year National Key R&D Plan, has been approved for initiation. As the first national key R&D project undertaken by Nongda Fertilizer this year, the project is being jointly carried out by Nongda Fertilizer and Shandong Agricultural University.
In addition, the company has had two major Shandong Province science and technology innovation projects approved: one as the lead applicant, titled “Research and Demonstration of Key Technologies for Precision Application of Water and Fertilizer in Facility-Grown Vegetables,” and the other as a participating institution, entitled “R&D and Application of Products for Rapid Remediation of Saline Soils and Enhancement of Soil Fertility.”
The approval and implementation of these three projects will provide strong impetus to the company’s efforts in key technological innovation and new product development, while generating substantial social, ecological, and economic benefits. They will help establish a modern, eco‑circular agricultural development model characterized by high productivity, product safety, resource efficiency, and environmental sustainability, create replicable and scalable exemplars of eco‑circular agriculture, and advance the city’s overall drive toward eco‑circular agriculture.
