Mo Xiancheng, General Manager of Yimin Agricultural Supplies
Suixi County is an important production base for fruits and vegetables in Zhanjiang, and it also cultivates extensive rice fields. Each year, the fruits and vegetables grown here are distributed nationwide. “With a wide variety of crops and heavy fertilizer use, many fertilizer companies have set their sights on this market, making competition in the local fertilizer sector extremely fierce,” says Mo Xiancheng. He believes that to carve out a niche in such a competitive landscape, fertilizer products must offer clear selling points.
Mo Xiancheng is a native of Suixi and has been in the agricultural‑input business for more than a decade, making him something of a veteran in the local industry. During our conversation, he struck me as a modest, down-to-earth, and exceptionally wise elder. Drawing on his many years of experience in the sector, Mo Xiancheng approaches the selection of new fertilizer products with great care. When choosing fertilizer varieties, he focuses on three key criteria: first, a well‑established brand; second, consistent quality; and third, environmental friendliness and high efficiency.

After applying Nongda fertilizer, the rice panicles are large and well-filled.
“Adhering to our long-standing commitment to meticulous rigor, I conducted extensive research before introducing Nongda fertilizers,” explained Mo Xiancheng. “Last year, I carried out numerous trials on more than a dozen crops, including vegetables, dragon fruit, and rice. With Nongda fertilizers, the soil became looser, the vegetable leaves grew thicker and greener, and the flavor improved markedly. On fruit trees, yields and quality both increased significantly.” Having witnessed the benefits of Nongda fertilizers firsthand, Mo Xiancheng launched an aggressive promotion campaign through field trials, demonstration events, and farmer meetings. Today, Nongda fertilizers have amassed a loyal following in the region, with an ever-growing number of farmers joining the ranks of those who use them.
Mr. Ye is a leading rice farmer in the area. Last year, at the recommendation of Mo Xiancheng, he conducted a trial application of Nongda Humic Acid Controlled-Release Fertilizer 27‑8‑10 during the topdressing stage for part of his rice crop, and the results were exceptionally impressive: the plants developed robust root systems with strong soil‑holding capacity, exhibited excellent lodging resistance, and sported thicker, darker green leaves. Compared with other fertilizers, this product boosted yields by roughly 200 jin per mu. “Most importantly,” Mr. Ye added, “the fertilizer’s efficacy lasts remarkably long—only one topdressing application is needed per rice season, significantly cutting down on labor hours and workforce.” He spoke highly of Nongda’s fertilizer.

Li Peng, the Zhanjiang representative of Shandong Agricultural University Fertilizer Co., Ltd., explained that Shandong Agricultural University is China’s largest producer of humic acid fertilizers. These fertilizers not only contain the essential N‑P‑K nutrients but also include mineral‑derived humic acid and a range of secondary and micronutrients. During application, they both meet crops’ normal nutrient requirements and help loosen the soil while improving its microbial ecosystem.
Many farmers, like Mr. Ye, have reaped similar benefits, with Chen Ziyang, a leading dragon‑fruit grower in Suixi County, serving as a prime example. According to reports, Mr. Chen cultivates over 60 mu of dragon fruit; however, poor management had long led to serious issues such as soil compaction and declining fertility. Last year, under the guidance of Mo Xiancheng, he applied Nongda bio‑organic fertilizer and a high‑calcium, potassium, and magnesium base fertilizer, followed by a topdressing of Nongda humic acid nitrate‑sulfur fertilizer (15‑5‑23) during the fruit‑expansion stage. Since then, his orchard has steadily improved: the soil has become loose and fertile, the dragon‑fruit stems are robust, the flower clusters are plump, and the fruits are large and uniformly sized, resulting in an additional yield of more than 1,000 jin per mu.

The use of Nongda fertilizer on dragon fruit has yielded significant results in both yield increase and quality improvement.
“After a year of promotion, Nongda Fertilizer has already gained some local recognition. Our next step is to further intensify demonstration efforts, letting farmers see tangible results that demonstrate the value of Nongda Fertilizer,” said Mo Xiancheng. He added that he is confident in boosting sales to over 800 tons this year and hopes that, by promoting high‑quality fertilizers, more growers will reap greater economic benefits.
