On April 6, the university‑affiliated fertilizer enterprise, Shandong Nongda Fertilizer Technology Co., Ltd., held a new‑product launch event in Feicheng, Taodu, unveiling several innovative products tailored to market demand and drawing the attention of nearly 300 manufacturers and distributors.
Li Jun, Director of the Center for Quality Inspection of Microbial Fertilizers and Edible Mushroom Strains at the Ministry of Agriculture, stated that ensuring soil health, fertilizer efficacy and utilization, and agricultural product safety is inseparable from microorganisms—meaning that the development and application of microbial fertilizers are essential. “Going forward, companies should prioritize R&D on products that combine soil remediation with soil improvement, develop formulations with distinctive functions, and emphasize targeted, specialized solutions,” Li Jun advised.
Professor Du Binghai of Shandong Agricultural University stated that, over the course of long-term trials and demonstrations, multifunctional microbial fertilizers have demonstrated significant efficacy in soil improvement, fertility enhancement, and efficiency gains.
This time, Nongda Fertilizer is promoting three major product lines comprising six items, primarily including resin‑coated urea, sulfur‑coated resin‑coated urea, microbial inoculants, organic matter ripening agents, Nongda potassium humate, and Nongda potassium fulvate. Ding Fangjun, Deputy General Manager of Nongda Fertilizer, outlined the key features of these products and emphasized that they were developed with soil health as the guiding principle, aiming to achieve a harmonious integration of soil, fertilizer, and water through rational formulation and application, thereby enhancing fertilizer use efficiency.
Nongda Fertilizer excels in technological innovation, having pioneered the potassium sulfate production process in the industry. Its microbial functional formulations are more targeted, offer a broader range of product varieties, and deliver more pronounced efficacy. According to Ma Xuewen, General Manager of Nongda Fertilizer, these new products boast high technological content and promising market prospects, aligning with prevailing trends in agricultural development. “Going forward, we will continue to adopt a sustainable development model that integrates industry, academia, and research, adjusting our R&D priorities as needed to focus on developing crop‑specific fertilizers. We aim to become a leading provider of products and technical services that nurture soil health, balance nutrition, and promote harmony between soil and fertilizer, thereby contributing to China’s agricultural sector.”
Li Diantong, General Manager of Xiangyu Organic Fertilizer Co., Ltd. under the Xinfengxiang Group, stated that this year marks the second year of collaboration with Nongda Fertilizer Industry. Today, I signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Nongda Fertilizer Industry, and we will continue to work together going forward.
Following the event, nearly a hundred companies on-site signed year-long strategic cooperation agreements with Nongda Fertilizer.
