Pooling our strengths and transforming in unison, we will jointly pursue long-term, win-win outcomes.

On July 2, Nongda Fertilizer Industry held its 2018 Humic Acid New Product Launch and Dealer Conference in Tai’an, Shandong, under the theme “Microbes Across the World, Potassium-Rich Prosperity.” More than 300 dealer representatives from across the country gathered at the foot of Mount Tai, united in purpose and committed to transformation, to jointly pursue long-term, win-win growth.

I. The industry urgently needs to undergo transformation.

At the meeting, Ma Xuewen, Chairman and General Manager of Nongda Fertilizer Industry, provided dealers with a comprehensive analysis of the current and future industry landscape. He emphasized that national initiatives such as the organic fertilizer substitution program and the Clean Soil Project are setting new, higher standards for the fertilizer sector. Meanwhile, the evolving roles of large-scale farmers, agricultural cooperatives, and other emerging agricultural business entities are posing even greater challenges to both the industry and its distributors. To keep pace with these developments, Nongda Fertilizer Industry and all its distributors must undergo a strategic transformation.

Second, “efficiency” is the focal point of transformation.

Ma Xuewen pointed out that farmers’ needs have undergone a fundamental shift: they no longer simply seek “yield” but instead prioritize “profitability,” focusing on cost‑effectiveness. After all, agricultural production is essentially an “investment.” To maximize their economic returns, farmers’ top priority is crop quality and market appearance—key determinants of whether their products can command premium prices. Their second priority is timing of market entry, as early versus late marketing can result in vastly different prices. Only then do they consider yield.

To this end, Nongda Fertilizer has upgraded its original corporate mission—“to enable more farmers to use better fertilizers”—to “to help more growers achieve greater economic returns.” This shift reflects a deep understanding of the underlying essence of the business and is sure to guide Nongda Fertilizer’s long-term growth.

Third, “collaboration” is the fast track to transformation.

Nongda Fertilizer has integrated its distributors into the company as “team members,” forging a community of shared interests with them and jointly pursuing transformation.

Nongda Fertilizer has established the “College of Agrochemicals,” which not only aims to enhance the marketing expertise and agrochemical service capabilities of its sales staff but, more importantly, imparts knowledge on crop cultivation, business management, and agrochemical services to its distributor partners, thereby strengthening their ability and competence in serving end‑farmers.

Nongda Fertilizer will also collaborate with seed companies, aerial‑spraying service providers, agricultural experts, and other stakeholders to deliver a wide range of agricultural services to farmers.

IV. Products Are the Key to Transformation

Nongda Fertilizer Industry is proactively adapting to evolving industry trends and responding to the call of the China Humic Acid Industry Association. With the mission of ushering in the “Fertilizer Industry 4.0 era” through the integration of humic acid with macro-, meso-, and micronutrients, it seeks to ensure that this thoughtful fertilizer flourishes across the land and that humic‑acid‑based fertilizers—among the most comprehensive formulations—reach every corner of China.

At the conference, Nongda Fertilizer Industry unveiled four product categories.

The launch of the new product brought the dealer conference to a climax and provided strong support for the joint transformation of the manufacturer‑dealer community of shared interests.
