According to a report by Gao Yuewen and Li Qiaoyu, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Taxation Administration recently jointly released the list of enterprises proposed for recognition as National Enterprise Technology Centers for 2017–2018 (the 24th batch). A total of 113 enterprises nationwide were included, among which was the Agricultural University Fertilizer Industry Technology Center. This marks the first time in nearly five years that Taian City has had an enterprise selected, and it is Feicheng City’s first national-level enterprise technology center.
This recognition as a nationally accredited Enterprise Technology Center is the culmination of Nongda Fertilizer Industry’s more than two decades of steadfast commitment to advancing through scientific and technological innovation.
It is reported that national-level enterprise technology centers carry significant prestige. They are designated for enterprises in key sectors of the national economy that demonstrate strong technological innovation capabilities, notable innovation achievements, and a leading, exemplary role. Such enterprises are expected to possess distinct advantages in areas including the establishment of innovation systems, the accumulation of innovative outcomes, advancements in process technologies, R&D investment, and talent development, while also playing a pivotal, demonstrative role in driving the transformation and upgrading of their respective industries.
This selection as a nationally recognized Enterprise Technology Center marks another national‑level research platform, following the Ministry of Agriculture’s Key Laboratory for Humic Acid Fertilizers. It signifies that Nongda Fertilizer Industry’s R&D efforts and the commercialization of its technological innovations have received official national recognition, underscoring the growing national attention to humic acid fertilizers and providing the company with a powerful technological boost to propel further growth and expansion.
This selection will not only further advance the research, development, and commercialization of Nongda Fertilizer Industry’s “Humic Acid Plus” technologies and products, but will also facilitate the recruitment of top-tier talent and the cultivation of high‑caliber research teams.
