Nongda Fertilizer Co., Ltd. Held a Semi-Annual Review and Strategic Briefing Meeting

On June 19, Nongda Fertilizer Co., Ltd. convened a meeting in the Marketing Building’s conference room to review the first half of 2017 and outline its strategic plan for the second half of 2017 through 2018. The company’s General Manager, Ma Xuewen; Deputy General Manager, Ding Fangjun; the respective divisional directors; and heads of relevant departments attended the meeting.

At the meeting, General Manager Ma Xuewen began by reviewing and summarizing the company’s performance in the first half of this year, conducted an in-depth analysis of the current business environment, and re‑articulated the company’s objectives and strategic plans for the second half of the year through 2018.

General Manager Ma Xuewen pointed out that, in the face of new circumstances and tasks, we must adopt a pragmatic approach, a holistic perspective, a forward‑looking vision, and rational thinking to assess the situation and act in harmony with prevailing trends. With the fertilizer market under downward economic pressure, it is essential to seize the opportunities embedded in these challenges through sound judgment. We must adhere to a strategic policy of integrated planning and tapping untapped potential, prioritize quality and efficiency, expand markets, reduce costs while boosting productivity, and enhance management. At the same time, we should continuously strengthen product upgrades, technological innovation, and agrochemical advancements, leverage our human‑resource strengths, take the initiative, secure competitive advantages, and forge a new phase of progress amid adversity.

General Manager Ma Xuewen set forth specific work requirements for both the leadership team and all employees. He emphasized the need to strengthen the company’s foundational management. Leaders at all levels must demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, think critically, and proactively and conscientiously carry out their duties; they should enhance the timeliness of their work, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule, to the required quality, and in full. They must also lead by example, effectively organize, educate, and unite every colleague. All employees are expected to clearly understand their respective job responsibilities, think independently, and take initiative in their work; they should cherish their positions, uphold the corporate values of innovation, development, and integrity, overcome challenges, and devote themselves wholeheartedly to their roles, diligently performing their duties with diligence and dedication. Furthermore, they must strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures, consistently acting in accordance with established rules; foster mutual solidarity, learning, and support; collaborate to drive continuous improvement; and steadily strengthen team cohesion and combat effectiveness.
