Nongda Fertilizer has consistently leveraged cutting-edge industry products to drive sector advancement.
On April 6, the new product launch event of Shandong Agricultural University Fertilizer Co., Ltd. was successfully held in Feicheng. The event was attended by Li Jun, Director of the Center for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing of Microbial Fertilizers under the Ministry of Agriculture; Du Binghai, Professor at Shandong Agricultural University and doctoral supervisor; Ma Xuewen, Chairman of Shandong Agricultural University Fertilizer Co., Ltd.; Ding Fangjun, Deputy General Manager; as well as more than 300 manufacturers and distributors from across the country.
Li Jun, Director of the Center for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing of Microbial Fertilizers under the Ministry of Agriculture, emphasized the promising prospects of biofertilizer development. He noted that microorganisms can perform a range of functions, including soil activation, nutrient decomposition, nutrient synthesis, and the promotion of crop growth, making biofertilizers particularly significant for China. Given the country’s high multiple-cropping index, a host of soil-related problems has been intensifying. Developing China’s microbial fertilizer industry is both a prerequisite for advancing sustainable and ecological agriculture and an inevitable choice and necessity for the country’s green agricultural development.
Professor Du Bingbing of Shandong Agricultural University, who also serves as a doctoral supervisor, presented an overview of the applications of functional microorganisms. He noted that many readily available organic wastes remain underutilized, resulting in significant waste. Functional microorganisms are derived from such materials and have demonstrated remarkable efficacy in soil improvement, fertilizer enhancement, and increased agricultural productivity.
At the meeting, Chairman Ma Xuewen welcomed all the guests. Nongda Fertilizer is a company renowned for its technological innovation; its coated controlled-release fertilizer technology and humic acid activation technology have each been awarded the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by Shandong Province. Its potassium sulfate production process is an industry first, while its microbial functional formulations offer more targeted solutions, greater product diversity, and more pronounced efficacy. At present, China’s fertilizer industry faces mounting challenges, including a “ceiling” on agricultural product prices, rising production costs, and increasingly stringent resource and environmental constraints. In response, we will continue to pursue a sustainable development model that integrates industry, academia, and research, adjusting our R&D priorities as needed to focus on crop‑specific fertilizers. We are committed to becoming a leading provider of products and technical services that nurture the soil, balance nutrition, and promote harmony between soil and fertility, thereby making our due contribution to the development of Chinese agriculture.
Deputy General Manager Ding Fangjun presented the new products, providing a systematic and comprehensive overview that highlighted their distinct advantages—such as enhanced soil nutrient uptake, improved fertilizer efficiency, and unique intrinsic properties. The attending distributors praised Mr. Ding’s thorough and expert technical briefing and expressed their hope to collaborate closely for mutual success.
At the conference, representatives from participating companies expressed strong confidence, and the atmosphere was more vibrant than ever. Zhang Yong, Executive Deputy General Manager of Yantai Agricultural Means of Production Co., Ltd., and Li Diantong, General Manager of Xiangyu Organic Fertilizer Co., Ltd. under the Xin Fengxiang Group, spoke as representatives of their partners. Nearly a hundred enterprises in attendance signed agreements on the spot, with orders totaling over 6,000 tons of nitrogen‑controlled release film and more than 500 tons of microbial inoculants. The event provided a platform for manufacturers to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and deepen their understanding, reinforcing their confidence in Nongda Fertilizer Industry and highlighting its strength.
Going forward, Nongda Fertilizer will continue to strive for excellence, uphold its pioneering role as China’s leading brand in humic acid fertilizers, and remain committed to the mission of “enabling more farmers to access higher‑quality fertilizers,” while delivering even better products. Nongda Fertilizer sincerely looks forward to forging partnerships with all our friends, working together toward mutual success, and taking the lead in advancing supply‑side structural reform in agriculture—providing robust support for this transformation and contributing to greater agricultural efficiency, increased farmer incomes, and greener rural landscapes.
