Nongda Fertilizer Company organized its employees to watch a safety awareness video.

To further disseminate safety knowledge, enhance all employees’ safety awareness, foster a company-wide culture of “caring for life and prioritizing safety,” and strengthen the foundation of safe production, on October 12, the Safety and Environmental Protection Center of Nongda Fertilizer Co., Ltd. organized a screening of a safety‑production警示教育 film for frontline production staff. Meng Xianhua, Director of the Production Center, Hu Cuihong, Deputy Manager of the Production Department, and more than 300 employees from the Production and Materials Management Departments attended the session in the sixth‑floor conference room of the company’s Research Building.

The educational films, including “Between Life and Death—2016 Warning Film on Safe Production of Hazardous Chemicals,” “Deadly Ammonia—April 21 Major Liquid Ammonia Leak Accident,” “Hot Work,” and “Temporary Electrical Work,” thoroughly analyze the causes and lessons learned from recent severe and extremely serious safety accidents in chemical enterprises, as well as the standard operating procedures for production tasks. These films have once again heightened awareness of safety and underscored the importance of working in accordance with established rules and adhering to safety operating procedures.

Following the screening, Hu Cuihong, Deputy Manager of the Production Department, pointed out that for many years, Nongda Fertilizer Industry has consistently adhered to the principle of “safety first, prevention foremost, and comprehensive management,” placing safety at the top of its priorities and maintaining a record free from any major safety incidents. She urged all employees to completely dispel any sense of complacency in their work, further strengthen safety management, and diligently implement all safety measures set forth by the company and the Safety and Environmental Protection Center. Employees, in turn, expressed that the vivid case studies and tragic scenes had delivered a powerful and realistic lesson in safety awareness. They pledged to keep the lessons of these accidents firmly in mind, remain constantly vigilant about workplace safety, and carry out their duties with diligence, ensuring they “come to work happily and return home safely.”
