Release Date:

2016-07-09

Talent is the cornerstone of a company’s sustainable and healthy development.

(This website reports, by Ren Shuli) On July 9, the first session of the Nongda Fertilizer Industry Reserve Cadre Training Program was successfully launched. Company General Manager Ma Xuewen attended the opening ceremony and delivered an important address. Deputy General Managers Ding Fangjun, Lu Shouzun, and Ma Xuezhi, along with the directors of various centers and more than 70 reserve cadres from the first cohort, participated in the training.

The opening ceremony was divided into three segments: the launch of the reserve‑cadre training program, the first‑phase book‑donation event under the reading initiative, and a leadership‑development workshop. The entire event was chaired by Li Hongqiang, Manager of the Human Resources Department. Ge Yuming, Director of the Strategic Development Center, provided a detailed overview of the reserve‑cadre development plan.

General Manager Ma Xuewen began by extending his warm congratulations to the reserve cadres participating in the training. He emphasized that this training program is a key initiative undertaken by Nongda Fertilizer Industry to align with its strategic development goals, cultivate a well‑structured and highly qualified talent pool, and enhance the professional knowledge, overall competence, and leadership capabilities of its managerial personnel.

Ma Xuewen emphasized four key points. First, it is essential to fully recognize the profound significance of this training program. He noted that among the five major strengths driving Nongda Fertilizer’s development, the foremost is its leadership team—responsible, professionally competent, and united in pursuing progress—and that cultivating and grooming reserve cadres is crucial for building a solid foundation for the company’s future growth. Second, everyone should carefully plan their professional career path. Each individual ought to set clear goals; such aspirations serve as the driving force behind one’s efforts, and only by continuously achieving these objectives can one lead a truly meaningful life. Third, the cadre selection criteria of Nongda Fertilizer must be rigorously upheld. The company promotes and appoints cadres based on three core principles: shared values, proven performance, and the ability to lead teams—and these same standards should guide the development of reserve personnel. Fourth, all centers across the company must collaborate closely. The cultivation of reserve cadres is not the sole responsibility of the Human Resources Department; rather, it requires the concerted efforts of every center and department, working together in a unified, collective endeavor.

The leadership‑development training marked the first step in preparing future managerial talent. Through his engaging presentation, Instructor Liu Youlin demystified the essence of leadership and shared the key strategies for enhancing leadership skills. Participants unanimously agreed that such courses are essential and expressed their hope to become outstanding leaders at Nongda Fertilizer Co., Ltd. through systematic learning.
