The goal of learning is to bring about change—and to make things better.

(Reported by Yin Xiaolong) To further strengthen the role of agricultural science and technology innovation in driving progress, give agriculture the wings of technology, help more grain growers improve their farming practices, and foster a societal climate that values food production, the first session of Nongda Feiyе’s “Three-Agriculture Science and Technology Lecture Series” commenced on May 20 at the School of Continuing Education of Shandong Agricultural University. The company invited renowned experts and professors to deliver a three-day training program for over 160 outstanding distributors from across the country, during which they also provided an outlook on the company’s market prospects.

Optimal facility fertilization standards to prevent and control pest and disease damage.

At the meeting, Yang Peili, director of the Weifang Changle Agricultural Technology Station, provided an in-depth briefing on fertilization practices and pest‑and‑disease management for various crops. Dealers raised specific questions and engaged in discussions based on the challenges they face, sharing insights into common issues affecting potatoes, garlic, wheat, and other crops, while also exchanging expertise on fertilization strategies and preventive measures against pests and diseases. Through on-site demonstrations of actual crops, experience‑sharing sessions, and Q&A, the event offered a thorough analysis of crop‑specific diseases and established fertilization guidelines.

Without propriety, people cannot thrive; without propriety, endeavors cannot succeed.

To enhance the professional competence and business negotiation skills of its distributors, the company invited seasoned professional managers and senior trainers to conduct workshops on business etiquette and sales techniques. The sessions focused on two key areas: business reception and personal presentation. Throughout the event, participants engaged in a warm and collaborative atmosphere, gaining a deeper understanding of fundamental protocols such as self‑introduction and the proper handshake. As one distributor remarked, “Strong interpersonal skills are themselves a form of marketing.”

In line with national fertilizer development, microbial fertilizers are paramount.

Li Jun, Director of the Institute of Microbiology at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, provided an overview of the application and development of microbial fertilizers. The state will continue to support and foster the microbial fertilizer industry during the 13th Five-Year Plan period and beyond, reflecting a clear national trend in fertilizer innovation. Experts and professors systematically presented the production processes and product characteristics of microbial fertilizers, as well as the government’s initiatives to promote the development of new‑type fertilizers, underscoring that microbial fertilizers are poised to play a transformative role in the future evolution of the fertilizer sector.
