The leadership of my alma mater, Shandong Agricultural University, expressed their deep concern for and strong support of Nongda Fertilizer Industry.
On January 26, Zhu Li, Vice President of Shandong Agricultural University, led the vice deans in charge of academic affairs from 20 colleges—including the College of Resources and Environment, the College of Agriculture, the College of Plant Protection, and the College of Life Sciences—on a visit to our company for an exchange. The company’s General Manager Ma Xuewen, Deputy General Manager Ding Fangjun, and Director of the Strategic Development Center Ge Yuming extended a warm welcome to the visiting leaders.
Julie and her delegation visited the company’s national soil remediation demonstration project, its microbial fertilizer initiatives, and the company’s exhibition hall, gaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s development trajectory, technological innovation, new product development, project implementation, future project planning, talent cultivation, and industry–university–research collaboration.
At the symposium, General Manager Ma first extended a warm welcome to Julie and her delegation, providing a detailed overview of the company’s two-decade journey of innovation and entrepreneurship. He then highlighted the company’s new visions and approaches for advancing industry–university–research collaboration in its future development. He stated that, going forward, the company will leverage platforms such as its nationally established Postdoctoral Research Station and the Shandong Province Enterprise Internship and Training Base to forge close, comprehensive, and in-depth cooperation and exchanges with Shandong Agricultural University, thereby strengthening the university’s technical support role and further enhancing the company’s overall competitiveness.
The vice deans of the respective schools presented an overview of their institutions’ academic programs and explored new avenues and approaches for industry–university–research collaboration. Julie expressed full recognition and high praise for the company’s rapid and robust development in recent years, and pledged to continuously supply the company with top talent to help it grow stronger and more competitive.
