On December 30, Shandong Agricultural University held the “Nongda Fertilizer Scholarship” award ceremony in the Library and Information Building on the South Campus. University leaders, including Vice President Zhu Li and Party Secretary of the College of Resources and Environment, Yu Lin, attended the event. Ma Xuewen, General Manager of the company, and Ge Yuming, Assistant to the General Manager and Director of the Strategic Development Center, were invited to attend. A total of 27 outstanding students received awards.
At the award ceremony, the company’s general manager, on behalf of all employees, extended heartfelt congratulations to the students who received scholarships. Drawing on the saying, “When you drink water, remember its source; when you recognize kindness, strive to repay it,” he fondly recalled his years of study, work, and personal growth at Shandong Agricultural University. He also reflected on the past two decades during which Shandong Agricultural University has provided the company with technical expertise, talent support, and collaborative partnerships. By establishing the “Shandong Agricultural University Fertilizer Industry Scholarship,” he expressed sincere gratitude and deep appreciation for the university and its College of Resources and Environmental Sciences. Finally, invoking the familiar proverb, “If you’re not family, you don’t step through the same door,” he encouraged the university’s students to regard Shandong Agricultural University Fertilizer Industry as a home for their future careers and lives, to master their professional knowledge and skills with diligence, and to join this large family at an early date.
At the ceremony, Vice President Zhu Li of Shandong Agricultural University delivered a speech, in which she highly commended the company for its strong commitment to education, its spirit of gratitude, and its dedicated sense of social responsibility. She expressed her hope that the award-winning students will continue to study diligently, comprehensively enhance their overall capabilities, and, in due course, give back to society and to Shandong Agricultural University Fertilizer Co., Ltd.
It is reported that Shandong Agricultural University’s “Nongda Fertilizer Scholarship” has been awarded annually for six consecutive years since 2010. Additionally, according to information provided by the company’s Human Resources Department, the company held a dedicated recruitment event on December 29 at the College of Environmental Science and Engineering of Shandong Agricultural University, where several outstanding students expressed their interest in joining the company.
