Nongda Fertilizer Co., Ltd. has been elected as a vice-chair unit of the Humic Acid Professional Committee of the China Humic Acid Industry Association.
On May 29, at the ninth meeting of the fifth council of the China Humic Acid Industry Association, the Humic Acid Fertilizer Professional Committee of the Association was established, with 35 enterprises and research institutions becoming its members. Beijing Aojia Fertilizer Co., Ltd. was elected as the chair unit of the committee, while Luxi Group, Shandong Nongda Fertilizer Co., Ltd., Tianjin Luyang Chemical Fertilizer Co., Ltd., and seven other companies were appointed as vice-chair units.
In 2015, China had more than 1,000 humic acid fertilizer producers, making it the world’s largest producer of humic acid fertilizers. To further enhance the competitiveness of the humic acid fertilizer sector and promote its sound development, at the initiative of industry representatives, the China Humic Acid Industry Association decided to establish a Professional Committee on Humic Acid Fertilizers.
According to reports, the Specialized Committee on Humic Acid Fertilizers will, under the leadership of the China Humic Acid Industry Association, undertake four key initiatives: 1. Strengthen technical, informational, managerial, and market‑related exchanges and collaboration among enterprises, thereby enhancing their leading role and bargaining power; 2. Facilitate the exchange of production‑statistics data, with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting; 3. Organize technical exchanges on humic acid fertilizers and promote cutting‑edge technologies and equipment throughout the industry; and 4. Conduct research into the challenges and issues confronting the sector, propose viable solutions, convey industry concerns to government authorities, and collaborate with government bodies in formulating relevant industrial guidelines and policies.
