Nongda Fertilizer Industry participated in the province-wide soil-testing and formula‑fertilization training conference, actively dedicating itself to the soil‑testing and formula‑fertilization initiative, ensuring that more farmers have access to higher‑quality fertilizers and that more growers reap greater economic benefits.
(Liu Yali) From September 8 to September 9, 2008, the soil-testing and formula‑fertilization technology training course organized by the Zaozhuang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture was solemnly inaugurated at the Yinchu Grand Hotel. The meeting was chaired by Li Wenyu, Director of the Zaozhuang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture. Attending the training were Gao Ruijie, Director of the Shandong Provincial Soil and Fertilizer Station; Feng Yiyong, the bureau’s deputy director in charge; as well as heads of soil and fertilizer stations and agricultural technical service centers from all districts and counties of Zaozhuang. Our company’s Deputy General Manager, Zhang Yong, and Marketing Department Manager, Gu Duanyin, also attended the training upon invitation.
At the meeting, Ma Hongyan, Director of the Soil and Fertilizer Station of the Zaozhuang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture, provided a detailed summary of the progress made in the 2007 soil-testing and formula‑fertilization project. Director Feng, drawing on recent national agricultural policies, shared Zaozhuang’s proven experience and outlined specific plans for this year’s soil-testing and formula‑fertilization efforts. Meanwhile, Researcher Sun Yeqiang from the Zaozhuang Agricultural Technology Extension Center presented the experimental and demonstration techniques for soil-testing and formula fertilization, as well as the autumn‑sowing fertilization practices employed in the city. Gu Duanyin, Manager of the Marketing Department, gave a thorough overview of our company and its product lineup, and, in light of the nutrient requirements of local crops and the region’s soil conditions, introduced seven tailored compound fertilizer formulations. These products garnered keen interest and attention from the directors of the agricultural bureaus across all districts and counties.
The following day, Gao Ruijie, Director of the Shandong Provincial Soil and Fertilizer Station, and Guo YueSheng, Section Chief, each delivered training on soil-testing‑based, formula‑guided fertilization techniques. Director Gao Ruijie outlined the specific measures implemented at all levels of the Shandong Provincial Soil and Fertilizer Station to carry out the Party and government’s various policies benefiting the people, focusing on four areas: land quality management, fertilizer management, water‑saving practices in farmland, and training. He also identified key priorities for future soil and fertilizer work and set forth concrete expectations for the responsible personnel at soil and fertilizer stations across cities and districts. Finally, Researcher Ma Deju from the Zaozhuang Agricultural Technology Extension Center presented an insightful report on soil-testing‑based, formula‑guided fertilization techniques and laboratory development.
This training has enhanced the technical proficiency of formula‑based fertilization across all districts and county-level cities in Zaozhuang, providing crucial guidance for the implementation of soil‑testing‑and‑formula‑fertilization programs. At the same time, it has laid a solid foundation for collaboration between our company and the Zaozhuang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture.
