Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies—The Company Holds the Launch Ceremony for the 2024 “Work Safety Month” Campaign.

June 2024 marks the 23rd National “Work Safety Month.” To thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions, instructions, and directives on work safety, Shandong Nongda Fertilizer Technology Co., Ltd. held the launch ceremony for its Work Safety Month activities on June 4, under the theme “Everyone Speaks of Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies—Keeping Lifelines Unobstructed.” The event was attended by Zhu Jun, Deputy General Manager; Lin Shengyong, Director of the Safety and Environmental Protection Center; Yang Yongcheng, Director of the Production Center; Su Huan, Director of the Materials Management Center; Jiang Wei, Manager of the Safety Management Department; as well as responsible personnel from each workshop and team.
At the meeting, Jiang Wei, Manager of the Safety Management Department, presented the company’s 2024 Work Safety Month Action Plan. The initiative will encompass a range of activities, including the dissemination and implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on work safety, thematic publicity for Work Safety Month, targeted safety inspections, safety‑related warning education, safety training and education, and emergency rescue drills. These efforts aim to comprehensively strengthen the company’s work safety management, enhance employees’ safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, ensure the smooth continuation of production and operations, and safeguard the physical and mental well‑being of all staff.
Subsequently, attendees participated in a pledge‑and‑signature event titled “Everyone Adheres to Rules and Regulations; Safety Starts with Me.” Zhu Jun, the company’s deputy general manager, led the responsible personnel present in signing their names on a commitment letter, urging each leader to fully understand, clearly define, diligently fulfill, and responsibly uphold their duties. He emphasized the importance of putting the “safety first” principle into practice, prioritizing safety in all operations, and fostering a safe and stable production environment that supports the company’s growth. In turn, each department head pledged to take full responsibility for safety issues within their respective units and to make every effort to ensure safe production.
Safe production is an essential component of the enterprise and a shared responsibility of every employee. Moving forward, the company will strengthen safety training and management, uphold the principle of “safety first, prevention foremost,” continuously reinforce awareness of the company’s red lines for safe production, and ensure that safety responsibilities are fully implemented. We will also enhance the quality of hazard identification and rectification, improve emergency response capabilities, and safeguard the safety of employees in both their work and daily lives.
