Release Date:

2024-06-07

An additional yield of 69.94 kilograms (139.88 jin) per mu.

On June 6, the “Remarkable Humic Acid” 2024 On‑Site Yield‑Testing China Tour was officially launched in Yucheng, Shandong. Co‑organized by Nongda Fertilizer Technology Co., Ltd. in collaboration with Shandong Radio and Television Station, the China Humic Acid Industry Association, the Key Laboratory of Humic Acid Fertilizers under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the National Engineering Research Center for Efficient Soil and Fertilizer Utilization, the event aims to comprehensively support and advance the nation’s new initiative to boost grain production capacity by 100 billion jin, while showcasing the outstanding performance of Nongda humic acid in promoting soil health and high‑quality agricultural development through field trials and on‑site yield assessments.
Zeng Xiancheng of the China Humic Acid Industry Association, along with Deputy Secretary-General Li Shuang, Liu Jianjun of Shandong Radio and Television, Ma Xuewen, Chairman of Nongda Fertilizer Co., Ltd., Xia Haimeng, Assistant to the General Manager, Zhang Ming, Director of the Sales and Management Center, and Song Chenghui, General Manager of Yucheng Ruifeng Agricultural Materials Co., Ltd., among many other distinguished leaders and guests, attended the event. Furthermore, to ensure the scientific rigor and impartiality of the yield‑estimation process, the event invited Zhang Bin, head of the wheat cultivation team at the Crop Research Institute of the Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, to serve as the chief expert. Teacher Zhang Bin formulated the yield‑estimation guidelines and standardized the procedures, thereby guaranteeing that the results would be precise, reliable, and valid. In addition, the event received strong support and extensive media coverage from Shaanxi Agriculture and Forestry TV, the Public Rural Channel of Henan Radio and Television, the All‑Media Operations Center for Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Anhui Radio and Television, Yucheng Radio and Television, and other media outlets, ensuring the event’s authenticity and effectiveness.
The demonstration plot and the control plot for this yield measurement are located in Qiaotou Sun Village, Fangsi Town, Yucheng City; they are two adjacent wheat fields. Both plots were planted with the same wheat variety and received identical routine management practices, with the only difference being their fertilization regimes.
The demonstration plot used Nongda Fertilizer Industry’s microbial humic acid fertilizer with an N-P-K ratio of 18-20-4 as the base fertilizer, while the control plot was treated with conventional diammonium phosphate.
After harvesting, loading onto trucks, measuring moisture content, weighing, and on-site calculations, the yield‑estimation results for both the demonstration plot and the control plot were finally released, much to the anticipation of local farmers. The demonstration plot had an actual harvested area of 1.41 mu, with a total yield of 1,088 kg and a moisture content of 19.73%, translating to a yield of 711.94 kg per mu. The control plot covered 1.53 mu, yielding 996 kg with a moisture content of 14.2%, equivalent to 642 kg per mu—a gain of 69.94 kg (139.88 jin) per mu.
“I’d say both plots yielded quite well. This year, the wheat flowered early; if it hadn’t been irrigated, it would have matured even sooner. Given that, achieving this yield is really impressive. In particular, the yield increase in the demonstration plot was a pleasant surprise,” said Zhang Bin.
Seeing such concrete results, Zeng Xiancheng, honorary president of the China Humic Acid Industry Association, was deeply moved. He stated that these findings constitute the strongest evidence of humic acid’s ability to protect soil and boost both yields and incomes.
Nongda Fertilizer Industry is China’s leading brand in humic acid products. Its humic‑acid fertilizers enhance soil quality, stimulate crop growth, and improve the quality of agricultural produce. At the event, Chairman Ma Xuewen stated that Nongda Fertilizer was born out of agriculture; its roots lie in farming, and its mission is to serve the agricultural sector. Moving forward, Nongda Fertilizer will remain committed to safeguarding China’s vast tracts of fertile farmland, staying true to its original aspiration of serving farmers, and building a century‑long enterprise.
The successful organization of this event not only demonstrated the remarkable efficacy of Nongda humic acid fertilizers but also injected new momentum into the drive for high-quality agricultural development.
