Brother Lian greeted us warmly and explained that, thanks to strong market demand, his passionfruits not only sell briskly in the local area but are also shipped far and wide across the country, bringing him a substantial income.
At Brother Lian’s invitation, Damei sampled a freshly picked passion fruit. The fruit was large and hefty; when sliced open, its golden‑yellow flesh came into view, releasing an intoxicating aroma. With one bite, she found the flavor perfectly balanced—sweet yet tangy—and delightfully complex.
